Anyone who has stepped into her classroom knows she doesn’t just teach-she brings pure magic to learning everyday! We are so incredibly thankful to have her inspiring our youngest learners! Walnut teachers and staff pulled off the best surprise for our amazing principal, Jill Pinkerton! Everyone showed up wearing shirts with her face on them—such a fun and thoughtful way to celebrate her. The celebration included a delicious cookout/pitch-in that made the day even more special.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Crossley’s father and stepmother for cooking all of that incredible food on the grill—it was absolutely delicious and so appreciated!

On 5.5.2026, Walnut’s Future Flyers in Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 visited Walnut for a special tour of the school! Our newest students had the opportunity to meet their teachers, explore classrooms, and see all the exciting things Walnut has to offer. We cannot wait to officially welcome our new 3- and 4-year-olds to the Walnut family this school year!
