Severe Storms are expected to develop in central North Dakota Tuesday mid afternoon and then expand in coverage as they move east toward the Red River valley in the evening and overnight. All hazards are possible especially in the level 3 region where a tornado is possible. Rest of the area the main threat will transition to strong damaging winds.

Severe storms will develop in western North Dakota this evening and move east overnight reaching the Devils Lake basin by midnight and then likely diminish by the time they reach the Red River valley overnight.
