ROAD CLOSURE
5/11/26

County Road 591 is now closed north of CR 7/TR 105 for a bridge replacement.
(Yes it seems like an east/west road, but addresses are listed as north/south).

This closure is scheduled to be a 4 week project.

Please use caution as other roads are used for the detour.

Thank you again to everyone who welcomed us in New Riegel, spent time with us and shared their stories. We had a great time visiting and realising our film and photo project!
Meanwhile we have safely arrived back in Germany and are looking forward to editing the photos and the film. We’ll make sure that you get to see the project once it’s finished!

If you have any information, such as documents & photos, about the historical connection, specifically on Riegel, Germany and New Riegel, Ohio, we would be delighted if you bring them to the meeting. This could include: family records, old photographs of life in New Riegel, stories of direct ancestral links to south Germany etc.

Dear citizens of New Riegel and community of the surrounding towns,

We, Tabea Jablonski and Jonathan Deges, are visiting New Riegel until the 14th of April for a documentary film & photo project about the relation between the town and Riegel, Germany. For this occasion we invite you to meet us personally, to get to know each other and exchange knowledge of this historical connection.
Feel free to stop by on Monday April 6 between 4pm - 7pm at the parish hall in New Riegel.

Self-advocates Rudy and Jackie Garcia attended the meeting to accept the proclamation.
