The Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that has been providing vision rehabilitation since 1983. The Lighthouse provides vision habilitation and rehabilitation and adjustment to blindness services to people of all ages who have experienced vision impairment. Lighthouse has served tens of thousands of people who are visually impaired since its incorp

Educate: Learn tips and tricks to stay independent in your own home. Find ways to be active in your community. Develop tools to manage your physical and mental health during and after vision loss.

Thank you, RESPECT of Florida, for awarding a mini-micro-grant to Walter Wright in support of his Out of Sight Detailing business. Your investment in entrepreneurship helps create opportunities for individuals who are visually impaired and blind to build independence and achieve their goals.

With nearly 15 years of vehicle detailing experience, Walter provides quality detailing services while demonstrating that vision loss is not a barrier to success. The grant will help purchase equipment and supplies to support the growth of Out of Sight Detailing.
