Stop in at the library and check out the cool geodes that Jay McClellan donated to the library. Lots of great info. about them. And while you are there, guess how many dino gummies are in the jar. The person who is the closest without going over, wins the gummies and the Moon lamp terrarium kit. :)

Summer Reading 2026 - Unearth a Story. Day two - Geodes. Jay McClellan and Russell O'dell were our fantastic presenters today. They taught us all about geodes, nodules, and thunder eggs. Each participant got to "Unearth a story" and keep the geode and info. about them. Plus, they each got to choose a polished rock pendant. These were all donated by Jay McClellan (82 geode packets, and 150 pendants), plus he donated a few geodes to our library. Thank you SO much! to our presenters today!!! :)

Summer Reading (for ages 3-17) Sign Ups begin today, Thursday May 14th at 1:00 p.m. Stop by the library, give us a call, or send a message. Be sure to pick up an itinerary at the library. You can then get signed up for each event. Hope to see you soon! :)

And that's a wrap! Our library Summer reading program has come to an end. We had 165 participants - 76 in the outreach activity program and 89 in the reading for prizes program. Those 89 reading participants read a total of 1,786 hours in six weeks. Great job , Everyone. And thank you for participating.
