STRONG FATHERS. STRONG FAMILIES. STRONGER COMMUNITIES.

Ohio has made an important investment in strengthening fathers and families, and I am so grateful that Tuscarawas County was awarded a Fatherhood Initiative grant to bring that investment home to our community.

I couldn’t be more excited about what this is beginning to look like here in Tuscarawas County!

Through the Fatherhood Initiative, we are creating opportunities that include All Pro Dad chapters, parenting workshops, one-on-one coaching, and support for fathers who want to grow in their role as dads.

Because the truth is, parenting doesn’t just come naturally. None of us is handed a manual when we become parents. But with the right tools, encouragement, and support, we can all grow and thrive in that role.

That’s what excites me most about this initiative. It’s about giving men the opportunity and the tools to become the fathers they want to be and helping them build stronger relationships with their children.
