Our community is grieving the loss of one of our children. Our hearts are with their family, friends, classmates, teachers and everyone who is hurting in the wake of this tragedy.

No one is expected to navigate the grief that follows a su***de alone. Please know that local support is available for anyone who needs someone to talk to, a safe place to process what they’re feeling, help making sense of what happened, or simply someone willing to sit with them.

As many of you know, there are counselors and resources available within our schools to support students and families.

SpringVale Health Centers also offers a 24/7 Crisis Hotline at 330.343.1811, connecting you directly with a behavioral health professional who can listen, provide support and help connect you with additional resources.

And at RapidCare Behavioral Health Urgent Care, anyone can walk in and speak with a counselor at no cost and without an appointment - all ages are welcome.

If you’re struggling, worried about someone you love, or simply don’t know where to turn, please reach out. You don’t have to face this alone.

🎡 It's fair season! While you're out enjoying rides, games, and funnel cakes, remember these quick safety reminders:

✅ Keep an eye on children - fairs get crowded fast.
✅ Stay hydrated - bring water bottle and take breaks in the shade.
✅ Practice food safety - wash your hands before eating and choose food vendors who keep things clean.
✅ Follow ride rules - pay attention to height and safety requirements.
✅ Watch for pedestrians when driving near the fairgrounds.
✅ Wash hands after visiting animal barns to prevent germs from spreading.
✅ Protect yourself from the sun - sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses go a long way.

Have fun and stay safe at the fair! 💜
