Hayleigh and Kalynn first connected through our School-Based program at Midvale, where they spent a year building a strong friendship. Now, they’re excited to continue their match in our Community-Based program and create even more memories together outside of school! 🌟

We love seeing friendships grow beyond the school walls and can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes them!

Brycen is an outdoorsy, active, and sweet 6-year-old from Tuscarawas County who loves getting outside and exploring! 🌿 He especially enjoys fishing, along with all kinds of outdoor activities. When he’s not outside, you might find him enjoying some time playing video games. 🎮

Brycen can be a little shy at first, and he’s looking for a mentor who will take the time to get to know him, share some adventures, and stay active alongside him.

The best part? Brycen is open to being matched with a Big Brother, Big Sister, or a couple—so there are lots of ways someone could become an important part of his life! 💙

Join us TONIGHT - Thursday, September 10 at Quaker Cinema for two thought-provoking films:

Starring Will Poulter and Noah Centineo, this powerful drama follows brothers Cody and Jack Parsons as they navigate a court-mandated drug rehabilitation program in rural Ohio, a community deeply affected by the opioid epidemic.

What if the goal of longevity wasn't simply to live longer, but to live better for longer? This fascinating documentary follows scientists working to extend health span while also telling the deeply human story of an 87-year-old widower and his aging rescue dog.

Carter is an active, talkative, and kind 5-year-old from Tuscarawas County who is happiest when he’s outside exploring! 🌿 He loves getting his hands dirty, searching for bugs, and building things. Whether he’s discovering something new in the backyard or dreaming about exploring caves, Carter is always ready for his next adventure! 🪨🔎

When Carter grows up, he hopes to become a construction worker—so there’s a good chance his love of building is already pointing him in the right direction! 👷‍♂️

Carter is looking for a Big Brother who will get outside, explore, build, and have plenty of fun alongside him while helping him discover the world around him.

Jacob is a friendly, talkative, and laid-back 10-year-old from Tuscarawas County who loves having fun and spending time with others. He enjoys everything from board games and Uno to fishing, baseball, trips to the waterpark, and hanging out at the park. He also has a big heart for animals! 🐾🎣⚾

Jacob has a big dream for the future—he hopes to become a police officer when he grows up! 🚔

🌟 Stronger Communities. Brighter Futures.

Our Tusc County Team recently joined community leaders from across Ohio for the 2nd Department of Children and Youth Summit, working together to build a stronger future for the children and families we serve.

The summit brought together inspiring voices, including Governor Mike DeWine and First Lady Fran DeWine, Jim Tressel, and Maurice Clarett, while local teams focused on creating actionable plans to address some of the most important challenges facing children in our communities.

For Tuscarawas County, planning centered around three key goals:
👶 Improving infant mortality rates
🎒 Improving kindergarten readiness
🏡 Decreasing foster care and kinship placements

We’re proud to have BBBS President & CEO Beverly Pearch representing our organization as part of the Tusc County Team and contributing to conversations focused on creating better outcomes for children and families.

And while she may not be pictured, Director of Programs Mandy Thomas was also there representing the Harrison County Team! 💙

When organizations and community leaders come together with a shared vision, we can create meaningful change—and give more children the opportunity to reach their full potential. 💫
