Elting Memorial Library The Elting Memorial Library provides access to a variety of materials including books, audio books, and DVDs as a part of the Mid-Hudson Library System.

Our Haviland-Heidgerd Historical Collection offers access to local history and genealogy. The library is no longer requiring appointments in any area.

Join visual artist Madeleine Cutrona on Tuesday, September 22nd at 7 PM for an interactive artist talk about her latest series of wall-hanging sculptures, “Consistent Way Back.” During the artist talk, you’ll hear about her interest in chutes, ladders, ceramics, and examining who our economic system actually works for. You’ll participate in the lecture by making your own air-dry clay sculpture.

Perhaps you're hunting for your new favorite book. Searching for that perfect toy? Perusing for perennials? Seeking some fresh pieces for your jewelry box? The Elting Memorial Library Fair on Saturday, September 26th, 9 AM - 4 PM, will have that and more! After shopping, spend the day relaxing and listening to music while enjoying refreshments. Not to be missed is our annual Library Fair Raffle and Silent Auction, with over 100 prizes from area businesses and individuals, including the favorite two-night stay for two at the Mohonk Mountain House. Come back Sunday, September 27th, from 10 AM - 3 PM to continue perusing our selection of books and toys.

You're invited to a summer evening concert of flamenco music, song, and dance! Elting Memorial Library's Music in the Garden presents the Hudson Valley Flamenco Festival in the Vera Rushforth Reading Garden on Friday, September 18th at 6:30 PM
