We are proud to celebrate excellence across New Palestine Community Schools!

At tonight’s NPCS Board of Trustees meeting, we celebrated the success of our NPHS music programs by recognizing them as the recipients of the Indiana State Music Association All-Music Award for the 2025-2026 school year.

We also celebrated Brandywine Principal Austin Theobald as the 2026 District 10 Elementary Principal of the Year.

The following grants were celebrated as well:
- New Palestine Education Foundation presented a check for literacy training.
- Indiana Association of Public Education Foundations presented a check for food insecurity.
- The Community Foundation of Hancock County presented a Community Support Grant to help offset daycare food costs.

Lastly, we welcomed Matt Bush as the new principal for New Palestine Junior High School.

As we prepare for Friday evening’s commencement ceremony, please review the important parking and event information below.

Parking Information:
Please refer to the map for traffic flow and parking locations. Stadium gates will open at 5:30 p.m.

2026 Graduates:
Park in the Fieldhouse/Natatorium lots

Families & Guests:
Enter from 500W or Bittner Road
Park in the south lots

NPCS Staff & Handicap Parking:
Enter from US 52
Park in the north lot
Staff ID or handicap parking permit required for access

Live Stream:
The commencement ceremony will be live-streamed on Friday evening on the district’s YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com//streams.
The stream will begin at 7pm.

No Tickets Required
Tickets are not required for this event. Additional seating has been added to Kelso Stadium, and guests may enter through either the south gate or east gate starting at 5:30pm.

We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2026 with you on Friday evening.

New Palestine Community Schools, in partnership with Zoey’s Place, invites parents to attend an important session focused on helping families navigate the digital world their children use every day.
