🛠️ Summer School Workdays: As Zion prepares our new and refreshed spaces for the upcoming school year, we’re inviting our staff, school families, congregation members, and community to join us for our Summer School Workdays. There are opportunities for everyone to serve—whether you can help for a few hours or stay the whole day. We will have our first workday on Saturday, June 20th from 8:00am - 2:00pm. Projects may include:
📦 Moving classroom materials and furniture
🎨 Painting and classroom refresh projects
🧹 Cleaning and organizing spaces
🌿 Weeding, landscaping and exterior cleanup
🔨 Light rehab and preparation work
🙏 Encouraging and supporting our volunteer teams

Every helping hand makes a difference as we prepare spaces where students will learn, grow, and hear about Jesus for years to come.

We are also seeking donations of materials and supplies to help refresh our current classrooms as we work to repaint, repair, and improve these spaces for the upcoming school year. Please contact Mr. Sands if you can assist with this or would like to volunteer through the summer.

Building More Than Walls ✝️, Last week after Chapel, our students and staff had a special opportunity to pray over and sign the frames that will become the walls of the new section of our school building. Before drywall, paint, and classrooms, these spaces were covered in prayer.

What a powerful reminder that we are not simply constructing a building we are building on faith, shaping a place where children will grow in wisdom, character, and the love of Christ for generations to come.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28: 19-20
