Look for some changes coming soon to help alleviate traffic patterns at the intersection of US 52 and 450 West. INDOT will monitor the new installation of traffic signs and the impact on travel. Concerns with school traffic and the ability to safely navigate this intersection was brought to the attention of INDOT this past year and we are pleased they have taken an initiative to work along with the community to look for solutions.

Daily road closures are planned in Henry and Hancock counties for culvert replacements. All work is scheduled on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On or after Monday, April 13, U.S. 36 will close between County Road 125 W. and County Road 75 W. near Mt. Summit. The road will be closed daily for one week, weather permitting.

On or after Tuesday, April 14, County Road 600 W. will close on the south side of the U.S. 52 intersection near New Palestine. The road will be closed daily for one week, weather permitting.

We thank everyone that came out to our 5th annual Easter Egg Hunt . Thank you Sugarcreek Fire Dept for transporting Mr Easter Bunny and the use of Sugar Creek park and the volunteers that help get it together. We wish everyone a Happy Easter 🐰
