Colonial Nation… it is my honor and privilege to announce to you our new Director of Safety, Officer Dwayne Smith.
Officer Smith has long ties to CVSD, as both a graduate and also the first officer we hired when we founded the security department in 2023. Our students have grown to truly love Officer Smith since he joined us.
He has helped me build our safety department, and as I head to retirement, I couldn’t be prouder that he will be carrying the torch for our young Colonials and our staff! We are definitely in great hands with Officer Smith and the rest of the team!
