The Eastern Adams Regional Police Department was formed in 1991. The department provides 24/7/365 police services to Oxford Township and New Oxford Borough; which are home to more than 7,500 residents.
•In 1992, the EARP provided police coverage for Berwick and Oxford Townships.
•In 1998, the Borough of New Oxford joined the EARP and has been a member since that time.
•The EARP is governed by a police commission which comprises New Oxford Borough and Oxford Township.

08/01/2026 8:07 am-Police responded to the 1800 block of Carlisle Pk for a report of a theft of $5,500.00 USC by unknown person(s). The complainant stated he took a $5,5000 USC deposit on the purchase of a new vehicle on July 30, 2026, and put the money into a money bag and placed it into the safe. On July 31, 2026, the money bag was transported to the accounting department where it was opened with no money in the bag.
1:16 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Hampshire Dr for a report of a resident in medical distress. Upon location, EMS was on scene treating the resident.

08/02/2026 10:00 am-Police responded to the unit block of Peace Circle for a report of a gas leak from a residence. Upon location, police assisted the fire department with traffic control until the situation was resolved. The fire department found no leak in the premises.
10:26 am-Police responded to the intersection of Strom Store Rd & Fish & Game Rd for a report of a vehicle parked illegally obstructing the highway. Upon location, the subject vehicle had left the area before police arrival.
12:27 pm-Police responded to the New Oxford Intermediate School to assist EMS with a juvenile who was injured in a soccer match. Police assisted as needed.
3:41 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of Poplar Rd for a dispute over property. Upon location, police advised the parties that this is a civil action, and they need to resolve this issue between themselves or seek legal counsel for advice.
5:45 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Pine Ln for a report of a resident who fell and was injured. Upon location, EMS was on scene treating the resident.
10:09 pm-Police responded to the 5600 block of York Rd for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the Rite Aid Parking Lot. Upon location, Police made contact with the operator and conducted an investigation with negative results. The operator was instructed to leave the area in which he complied without incident.
10:18 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Irish Dr for a report of a disturbance caused by a large party. Upon location, police did not observe any party and observed no activity in the residence. Police did not received an answer at the door.

08/03/2026 12:19 am-Police responded to the unit block of Irish Dr for a report of a large party. Upon location, police made contact with the daughter of the resident who was in Florida on vacation. Police advised the juvenile to break up the party and notified her parents of the actions of their daughter.
9:35 am-Police responded to the unit block of Irish Dr for a report of vandalism to a resident’s cell phone. Upon police taking the information, the incident occurred in Berwick Township, and the resident was informed that a report must be filed with the Berwick Township Police Department.
2:30 pm-Police responded to the New Oxford High School for a report of an individual who fell and was injured. Upon location, the fire department was treating the person until the arrival of EMS.
4:24 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Chinkapin Dr for a report of a welfare check. Upon location, police found the resident to be deceased from natural causes.

12:32 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Peace Circle for a report of a resident in medical distress. Upon location, police ensured the resident was stable until the arrival of EMS for treatment.
11:22 pm-Police responded to York Rd & Carlisle Pk for a report of a reckless driver traveling westbound on York Rd from York County. Upon location, police observed the target vehicle and followed to observe traffic violations. Police did not observe any violations while traveling through our jurisdiction.

08/05/2026 12:22 pm-Police responded to the 5800 block of York Rd for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon location, police performed a check of the vehicle, and it came back with a warrant out of New Jersey, but enforcement was for in state only.
1:27 pm-Police responded to the 800 block of Poplar Rd for a report of a domestic between husband & wife. Upon location, police helped to defuse the situation without further incident.

08/07/2026 7:04 am-Police responded to the 200 block of Summerfield Dr for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police met with an employee who had tripped the alarm.
10:56 am-Police responded to the 2200 block of Carlisle Pk for a report of an auto accident. Unit #1, Unit #2, and Unit #3 were traveling southbound on Carlisle Pk when Unit #2 & Unit #3 stopped for traffic conditions. Unit #1 failed to stop & struck Unit #2 in the rear. Unit #2 was propelled forward & struck Unit #3 in the rear. All three vehicles sustained moderate damage.
5:55 pm-Police responded to the 5600 block of York Rd for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot for an extended period of time. Upon location, police made contact with the occupants and conducted an investigation with negative results. Police instructed the occupants that they were parked on private property & trespassing. The occupants left the area without further incident.

08/08/2026 8:24 am- Police responded to the 200 block of Summerfield Dr for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police met with an employee who had tripped the alarm.
5:44 pm-Police responded to the 4700 block of York Rd for a report of a 911 hang up. Upon location, police did not find anyone under duress at the business establishment.
7:15 pm- Police responded to the 4700 block of York Rd for a report of a 911 hang up. Upon location, police did not find anyone under duress at the business establishment. The second call was from a different phone number from the first call.

08/09/2026 7:46 am-Police responded to the unit block of West Locust Ln to assist EMS with an uncooperative patient. Upon location, police assisted as needed.
12:13 pm-Police received a bolo for a vehicle involved in a hit & run accident in Straban Township. Police stopped the vehicle on the 300 block of Lincoln Way East for investigation. Police notified the PA State Police who arrived and took over the investigation.
1:56 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Trumpeter Way to assist McSherrystown PD receive contact information for the resident. Upon location, police retrieved the information and relayed it back to McSherrystown PD.
5:57 pm-Police responded to the 1300 block of Red hill Rd to assist the fire department with traffic control for a report of a gas leak. Upon location, police assisted as needed. No gas leak was found.

08/10/2026 12:20 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of Irish Dr for a report of a missing person. Upon investigation, police made contact with the resident who is an adult. She was in Maryland and was safe and not under any duress.
3:35 pm-Police responded to the 2900 block of Carlisle Pk for a report of an attempted fraud. The complainant stated that an unknown person identified herself as a representative of her bank and stated that her bank account was breached. She was instructed to go online and file a report with all her personal information then transfer $50,000 USC into an account provided by the unknown person. The complainant realized this was a scam and did not send any money.

08/01/2026 9:28 pm-Police responded to the 200 block of Lincoln Way East for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police conducted an exterior check of the building and found it to be secure.
9:44 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Oxford St for a report of a disturbance. Upon location, police were met by the resident who requested transportation to Hanover Hospital. Police transported the resident to the hospital for treatment.

08/03/2026 11:48 am-Police responded to the 300 block of West High St for an informational request. Upon contacting the resident, police provided the information requested.

08/04/2026 12:03 pm-Police responded to Lincoln Way West & Kohler Mill Rd for a report of a vehicle traveling eastbound on Lincoln Way West, which was wanted. Police observed the subject vehicle and conducted an investigation. The operator had a warrant, but only could be served in the State of New Jersey, which it was issued.

08/05/2026 9:10 am-Police conducted an investigation on ANTHONY CHRISTIAN HILL W/M 27 years of age from New Oxford for false identification to police. Police have been issued a warrant for his arrest. .
4:48 pm-Police responded to the 200 block of Lincoln Way East for a report of an unknown vehicle parked in a private driveway without permission. Upon location, police conducted an investigation, and the vehicle came back to the resident’s daughter boyfriend.
10:07 pm-Police responded to the 200 block of Lincoln Way East for a report of a resident who fell and was injured. Upon location, EMS was on scene treating the resident.

08/06/2026 10:21 am-Police responded to the unit block of Paradise Ct for a complaint of dogs barking. Upon location, police informed the resident to notify police when the dogs are actively barking, so a location can be determined where the dogs are at. .
4:12 pm-Police responded to the 300 block of Lincoln Way West for a report of a non-active domestic between ex-boyfriend & girlfriend. Police advised the resident to apply for a PFA.

08/07/2026 10:44 am-Police responded to the 100 block of West High St for a report of a property dispute. Upon location, police were able to help the parties resolve the issue without incident.

08/08/2026 12:24 pm-Police conducted a traffic investigation on Lincoln Way West & North Bolton St for an auto accident. Unit #1 was traveling westbound on Lincoln Way West when it struck Unti #2 traveling southbound across Lincoln Way West from North Bolton St. During the course of the investigation, the operator, JAMORE LEE COLE B/M 21 years of age from New Oxford indicated signs of impairment. Cole was transported to Gettysburg Hospital for testing for possible DUI.
2:30 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of West High St for an informational request. Upon location, police were able to provide the information requested.

08/10/2026 1:20 am-Police responded to the 300 block of North Bolton St to check on the welfare of the EMS crew who did not respond to radio. Upon location, police made contact with EMS who were treating a resident.
8:42 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Oxwood Circle to assist Hanover Borough PD obtain contact information on the resident. Upon location, police were able to obtain the information requested and relay this back to Hanover PD.

07/21/2026 11:45 am-Police responded to the 200 block of Summerfield Dr for a report of a theft. The complainant stated that a shower stall fiberglass enclosure was taken without permission by an unknown person(s) sometime between May 4, 2026, and May 8, 2026. The item was in an unsecured property under construction. The value of the shower stall is estimated at $300.00 USC.
4:15 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of Billerbeck St for a report of harassment by communication via social media. The complainant stated a relative was posting harassing posts on social media toward the complainant. Police made contact with the offender and issued a warning to stop, or he will be cited for harassment.
5:26 pm-Police responded to Irish Dr & Emerald Ln for a report of a fallen tree on power lines. Upon location, police did not observe any fallen tree in the area, and the power lines are underground in this area.

07/22/2026 7:43 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Summerfield Dr for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police conducted an exterior check of the building and found it to be secure.
11:16 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Lincoln St for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police made contact with cleaning personnel who accidentally set off the alarm.

07/23/2026 1:05 am-Police responded to the unit block of Heritage Ct for a report of a dog barking. Upon location, police ascertained the location of the residence the dog was barking and attempted to make contact with the resident. Police were unable to receive an answer from the residence because no one appeared to be home.
8:02 am-Police responded to the 5800 block of York Rd for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police met with an employee who had tripped the alarm.
9:44 am--Police responded to the unit block of Summerfield Dr for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police met with an employee who set the alarm off coming to work.
2:25 pm-Police responded to the 300 block of Hanover St for a report of a resident in medical distress. Upon location, police & EMS found the resident deceased by natural causes.
4:11 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Hampshire Dr for a report of a resident who fell and was injured. Upon location, police & EMS observed the resident who was intoxicated on the back porch with injuries. The resident became loud & belligerent causing neighbors to come out of their homes. Police were able to secure the resident to be treated for his injuries.. The resident, BRIAN MARTIN ROOSENBERG W/M 64 years of age threatened to retrieve a gun and shoot everyone in his sight. Rosenberg will be charged with terroristic threats.
5:32 pm-Police responded to the 1800 block of Carlisle Pk for a report of a fire alarm. Upon location, police found no fire and cancelled the fire departments response.
10:21 pm-Police responded to Carlisle Pk ^ York Rd for a report of a disabled vehicle blocking the highway. Upon location, police conducted a search of the area with negative results.

07/24/2026 2:46 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of 700 Rd for a report of a 911 hang up. Upon location, police met with the resident who did not require assistance.
7:14 pm-Police responded to the 200 block of Billerbeck St for a report of a suspicious person soliciting door to door. Upon location, police stopped the male for investigation and determined the male did not have a permit to solicit. He was instructed to stop and obtain a permit, which he complied without incident.
10:35 pm-Police responded to the 700 block of Hanover St for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police conducted a check of the property and found everything secure.

07/25/2026 8:15 pm-Police received a neighborhood complaint from the unit block of Hampshire Dr. Police took the information and are working on a solution
10:42 pm-Police received a non-active report of a domestic between boyfriend & girlfriend, which occurred on July 24, 2026. Police received the information and advised the caller.

07/27/2026 12:15 pm-Police responded to Hanover St & Irishtown Rd for a report of a disabled vehicle blocking the roadway. Upon location, police conducted traffic control until the vehicle was removed from the highway.
4:47 pm-Police responded to the 400 block of Brickyard Rd for a report of a welfare check. Upon location, police were notified the party in question moved to Ohio. New contact information was retrieved and relayed to the caller.
8:15 pm- Police responded to the unit block of Drummer Dr for a report of a resident in medical distress. Upon location, EMNS was on scene treating the resident.
8:24 pm-Police responded to the 1000 block of Irishtown Rd for a report of a resident in medical distress. Upon location, EMNS was on scene treating the resident.

07/28/2026 7:26 am-Police responded to the unit block of Black Ln for a report of a vehicle illegally parked blocking the driveway. Upon location, the subject vehicle had left the area before police arrival.
7:37 am-Police responded to the 5700 block of York Rd for a report of a disabled vehicle. Upon location, police determined the vehicle was abandoned. Police notified a towing company to remove the 2017 Mazda from the roadway.
10:28 am-Police responded to the unit block of Oak Rd for a report of found property left at the residence by the former tenants. Police received the property and returned it to the owner.
12:14 pm-Police responded to Carlisle Pk & Brickyard Rd for a report of an auto accident. Unit #1 & unit #2 were both traveling northbound on Carlisle Pk when Unit #2 stopped for the red light at the intersection of Brickyard Rd. Unit #1 did not stop and struck Unit #2 in the rear causing minor damage to both vehicles.
4:54 pm-While on routine patrol, police observed a fire coming from a residence on the 300 block of Kohler Mill Rd. Police notified the fire department and made sure the garage was evacuated. Police conducted traffic control until the fire was extinguished.
7:14 pm-Police responded to Hanover St & Carlisle Pk for a report of a hit & run auto accident. Unit #1 & Unit #2 were both traveling southbound on Hanover St. Unit #2 stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Carlisle Pk. As Unit #2 began to proceed with the turn, Unit #2 was struck in the rear by Unit #1. Unit #1 did not stop and proceeded on its way.

07/29/2026 12:49 pm-Police responded to the 600 block of Harmony Dr for a report of a fire alarm. Upon location, police & fire personnel searched the building and found that the alarm was activated by a resident burning food in their unit.

07/30/2026 1:53 pm-Police responded to the area of York Rd & Oak Dr for a report of two individuals walking on York Rd who may be distressed. Upon location, police located the individuals who were walking home and did not need assistance.
2:08 pm-Police responded to Black Ln & Mt Misery Rd for a report of an auto accident. unit #1 was traveling southwest on Mount Misery Road and unit #2 was traveling south on Black Lane. Unit #1 had stopped at a posted stop sign at the intersection before attempting to cross Black Lane into a private business. Unit #1 pulled from the stop sign into the path of Unit #2 and impact occurred in the southbound travel lane of Black Lane. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

07/31/2026 8:49 am-Police responded to the New Oxford Middle School for a report of an abandoned vehicle parked in their lot . Police conducted an investigation and made contact with the owner. The owner was instructed to have the vehicle towed off the property in which she complied.
8:06 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Katelyn Dr for a report of a suspicious person entering a property & taking a bookshelf from the residence. Upon location, police were informed that the person taking the bookshelf was the owner’s daughter.
9:16 pm-Police responded to the 4900 block of York Rd for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police conducted an exterior check of the building and found it to be secure.

07/21/2026 5:08 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Oxwood Circle for a report of harassment by communication. The complainant stated she befriended an individual on social media who requested money from her. The complainant refused and since has received harassing communication from the party. Police informed the complainant to block the individual on social media.

07/24/2026 2:00 pm-Police responded to the 200 block of Lincoln Way East for information on trespassing. Upon location, police observed the area in question and advised the resident.
7:30 pm-Police responded to Center Square for a report of a disturbance. Upon location, police found two males arguing with each other. Police were able to help defuse the situation without further incident.
10:23 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Berlin Ave for an informational request concerning custody issues. Upon location, police advised the resident.

07/26/2026 4:32 pm-Police responded to the 400 block of Lincoln Way West for a report of a property dispute on property lines between two neighbors. Police informed the parties to get a proper property survey making the property boundaries.

07/27/2026 5:32 pm-Police responded to the area of the 300 block of South Water St for a report of a 911 hang up. Upon location, police searched the area and did not locate anyone in distress

07/28/2026 4:21 pm-Police responded to the 200 block of Hanover St for a report of a tree limb down on electric wires. Upon location, police observed the tree limb resting on the wire and notified Met-Ed for the repair.
5:36 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of Kohler Mill Rd to assist the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and constable serve a warrant. Upon location, the warrant was served without incident, and the subject was placed into custody.

07/29/2026 3:34 pm-Police responded to the 400 block of Lincoln Way West for a report of a disturbance between neighbors. Upon location, the disturbance was about the property line boundaries between the residences. Police informed the residents that this is a civil issue, and they need to obtain a survey of the property and have the property lines staked out.

07/30/2026 5:03 pm-Police responded to South Water Street and Hollywood Avenue for a report of an auto accident. Unit #2 was traveling south on Water Street. Unit #1 had stopped at a posted stop sign on Hollywood Avenue, facing east, and was attempting to turn left and proceed north on Water Street. Unit #1 pulled from the stop sign and into the path of Unit #2 who had the right of way and impact occurred in the southbound travel lane of Water Street.
5:39 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Berlin Rd for a report of property damage to a storm door window breaking by unknown person(s). The complainant stated when he left his residence in the morning the window was ok and upon his return found it shattered by unknown means.
6:59 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of North Peters St for an informational request. Upon police contact, the complainant did not answer the phone call as requested by her.

GIRL SCOUT TROOP MAKES SURPISE VISIT TO EASTERN ADAMS REGIONAL POLICE DEPARTMENT.

On July 21, 2026, the East Berlin Girl Scout Troop 80112 made a surprise visit with their troop leader Maggie Eichelberger to donate girl scout cookies to members of the department.

Eastern Adams Regional wishes to express our deepest appreciation for the time and effort the girls made to bring these delicious treats to the department.

8:57pm-Police responded to the unit block of Chinkapin Dr for a report of a disturbance. Upon location,, police determined that this is a civil issue and they should seek eviction process.

07/13/2026 4:16 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of Irish Dr for a report of a welfare check. Upon location, police met with the residents who did not require assistance.

07/14/2026 11:09 am-Police responded to the unit block of Locust Ln for a report of a 911 hang up. Upon location, police did not receive a response from the door & there were no signs of anyone needing assistance.
12:20 pm-Police received a complainant for a business located on the 300 block of Kohler Mill Rd concerning a contracted service. Police informed the complainant that this is a civil matter and they need to consult with legal counsel.

07/15/2026 2:07 pm-Police responded to Kohler Mill Rd & Irishtown Rd for a report of a disabled vehicle. Upon location, police notified Mike’s Towing to remove a tractor-trailer, which was unable to navigate the turn on Irishtown Rd and went off the roadway blocking the intersection.
5:30 pm-Police received a report of a reckless driver that occurred on Carlisle Pk and Hanover St at approximately 5:00 pm. Police informed the caller to notify police when the incident is occurring and not wait until he gets home.

07/16/2026 8:39 am-Police received a report of a fraud from a resident who resides on the 1900 block of Storm Store Rd. The complainant stated she received three checks for deposit from an unknown source she had contact with on the internet. The complainant was instructed to deposit the checks then send the cash back to the sender. The complainant deposited the checks and sent $2,500.00 USC to the unknown person, and the checks received from the source bounced.
2:50 pm-Police responded to Mt Misery Rd & Black Ln for a report of an auto accident. Unit #2 was traveling on Black Ln with the right of way when its trailer was hit on the side from Unit #1, which was attempting to enter into the intersection from Mt Misery without clearance.

07/17/2026 12:56 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Red Hill Rd for a report of an informational request. Upon location, police received the information given.
7:21 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Hampshire Dr for a request for information. Upon location, police received the information given.

07/18/2026 3:05 pm-Police received a complaint from the 2900 block of Carlisle Pk of elderly abuse. Police have opened an investigation into the incident.

07/19/2026 8:17 am-Police responded to the unit East Locust Ln for a report of a resident in medical distress. Upon location, EMS was on scene treating the resident.
10:02 pm-Police responded to the New Oxford High School parking lot for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the lot for an extended period of time. Upon location, police investigated the vehicle and occupants. They were identified, ran for warrants, and released. The individuals were instructed to leave the area due to trespassing, & they complied without incident.

07/20/2026 5:49 pm-Police responded to the 200 block of Berlin Rd for a report of loitering in the School parking lot by unknown juveniles during the evening. Police received the complainant and will increase patrols in the area.

07/11/2026 6:33 pm-Police responded to the 300 block of South Water St for a report of a THEFT. The complainant stated he had his air pods at work and when he went to use them discovered an unknown person had taken them without permission. The value of the air buds was approximately $200 USC.
8:28 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of North Peters St for a report of harassment. The complainant stated that he got into a fight with his daughter’s boyfriend who punched him twice. Police informed the complainant to file a private criminal complaint since there was no physical evidence or injury to the complainant.
11:52 pm-Police responded to the 100 block of North Peters St to assist the York County Sheriff’s Office serve a PFA on the resident. Upon location, police did not receive an answer at the residence. .

07/14/2026 12:47 pm-Police responded to the 300 block of South Water St for a report of a 911 hang up. Upon location, police did not locate anyone in distress or in need of assistance.
2:50 pm-Police responded to the unit block of Oxwood Circle for a report of a domestic between boyfriend & girlfriend. Upon location, police were able to help defuse the situation without further incident.

07/15/2026 6:47 am-Police responded to the 200 block of Lincoln Way West for a report of a 911 hang up. Upon location, police met with the resident who did not require assistance.
7:02 pm-Police responded to the 500 block of North Bolton St for a report of a welfare check. Upon location, police had to gain access to the apartment and found the resident to be in need of medical attention. Police notified EMS who treated and transported the resident to the hospital for further treatment.

07/16/2026 12:16 pm-Police responded to Center Square for a report of an auto accident. Unit #2 (pedestrian) stated he was walking north to cross at the crosswalk on Lincoln Way West when he was struct by the rear of Unit #2 while it was making a turn into the traffic circle. There were no injuries reported nor damage to a vehicle.

07/18/2026 1:05 am-Police responded to the 200 block of West Golden Ln for a report of an alarm. Upon location, police conducted an exterior check of the building and found it to be secure.
5:43 am-Police responded to the unit block of Sunset Ave for a report of a 2024 Hyundai Tucson being repossessed. The recovery was conducted without incident.
7:49 am=Police responded to the unit block of Hanover St for a report of a parking complaint. Upon location, police did not observe any vehicle parked with a violation of parking regulations.

07/20/2026 10:23 pm-Police responded to the 200 block of South Water St for a report of loud noise. Upon location, police informed the residents of the complaint, and they agreed to stop their use of power tools for the evening.
