December 8, 2018, 6 years ago today, the beloved people of Orleans Parish elected me to serve as Judge, Orleans Parish Civil District Court, Division “E”. And, as I promised at my investiture ceremony shortly thereafter, I didn’t profess to be a perfect judge. I didn’t promise to have supernatural abilities to get everything right all the time. But, I promised that everyday that I put on the robe (literally and figuratively) I would work the hardest to be the very best jurist I could possibly be.

I firmly believe and trust that I’ve kept that promise these past 6 years. I am energized by what I do, and I love serving the people of Orleans Parish. And, I commit to continue to give you my very best, and continue my commitment to help ensure that “Justice for All, is a Reality for All.”

Five years ago, on December 8, 2018, the people of Orleans Parish duly elected me to serve as Judge of Orleans Parish Civil District Court, Division E. I had some big shoes to fill, succeeding the late Honorable Clare Jupiter. I hope I’ve made, and I will continue to strive to make, each of you proud and to help ensure that Justice For All will always be a Reality For All.
