Alright, guys. I have relieved all my staff of their duties and it is now only myself handling the situation. They have all done amazing jobs in their preparation for UltimaCon and I feel that they don't need to be part of this situation any longer. I am aware of all emails that have been sent and I am working on the situation. I know it is probably a lot to ask for, but I do ask for your patience for a little bit longer. Thank you.

UltimaCon 2012 might have been a bust due to loss of venue last minute, but if you Pre-Registered you can still show your support for our convention by moving your registration from this year to 2013! Expect an email in the next day or so in regards to refunds or keeping your support with us for our next show.

We are being forced to officially cancel UltimaCon. After a long week of speaking with numerous venues (and working with quite a few CVBs) from across downtown New Orleans to all the areas around the Metro area, and across Lake Pontchartrain to as far away as Hattiesburg and the Mississippi Gulf Coast we were unable to secure a venue large enough in time for our dates of May 25-27. We thank everyone for all your encouragement and support (especially my staff family and our already super-fans). If you are a dealer, artist, or prereged you will be receiving an email within the next day regarding refunds, etc.

The NOCVB has gotten us in touch with the only 'space available' venue left in the downtown New Orleans area. We are waiting on them to decide if they can feasibly ‘pull together our show in time’, unlike the last venue we spoke with. Unfortunately, beyond this venue, no venues have been found that was suitable within the metro area. As I stated, we even contacted the CVBs of Baton Rouge, Hammond/Tangipahoa, Louisiana’s NorthShore/Slidell, Mississippi Gulf Coast, and Hattiesburg. So that is where we are. We have been -very- busy, and I am sorry if you emailed us and haven't received a reply yet.

Sorry for lack of updates as I have been very busy on the phone and corresponding through email all day long and just now am getting a break. We are continuing to work on it. We found another venue that found the space we need, but I am having them figure out if they have -time- to work with us on our urgent.. so waiting for them to conclude if they do or do not.

Good morning! As the day has just began, I do not have any new news to report at this time but I would like to thank everyone for their patience and commitment towards making this convention what it was intended to be. I will be asking for the further support of you guys and the community at large, as soon as we lock something in with a new venue, we will really need for you guys to book at our new host hotel.

Possible new venue in the works! Please stay tuned - We are currently in talks with a good venue located within the New Orleans area. We will be getting a confirmation from them tomorrow and proceeding forward, so we should have information for you guys sometime very soon!
