Big investment. Local opportunity. Livingston Parish is growing.

EPIC Piping is investing $25 million to expand its Livingston facility by 80,000 square feet, adding welding stations and the ability to take on larger, more complex fabrication work.

The expansion is part of a broader wave of local investment as demand grows across energy, LNG, power and advanced manufacturing. That growth is also driving demand for skilled workers and new training opportunities.

Louisiana’s energy future is being built by Louisiana hands.

Today, we remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders, service members and everyday Americans who answered the call to help.

Twenty-five years later, we stand with the families and communities forever changed. May we carry forward the compassion, courage and unity that brought our nation together.

Energy is part of nearly everything we do.

It powers our homes, supports transportation, keeps businesses running and helps move the products we rely on every day.

Here in Louisiana, energy also supports local jobs, strengthens communities and keeps our state connected to the world.

Louisiana should be a place where businesses want to invest, hire and grow. But our state’s challenging legal climate can make it harder to compete with neighboring states.

GLAC Executive Director Marc Ehrhardt joins Moon Griffon to discuss how Louisiana’s “trial lawyer economy” affects businesses, discourages new investment and sends jobs across state lines.

Creating a fairer, more predictable legal environment is an important step toward strengthening Louisiana’s economy, supporting local workers and keeping future opportunities right here at home.

More hands-on training means more opportunities for Louisiana students.

Shell and Turner Industries donated more than $100,000 in equipment to River Parishes Community College, giving students access to the tools and training they need to prepare for careers in Louisiana’s industrial workforce.

Investments like this build a stronger talent pipeline, support local jobs and prepare the next generation to keep Louisiana moving forward.
