Pamela Ann Williams Obituary and Memorial Service Information

Pamela Ann Williams, a lifelong resident of Pontchartrain Park, passed away peacefully on the evening of March 31, 2026. She was a proud graduate of the New Orleans Public School System and continued her education at Southern University. Throughout her life, Pamela demonstrated dedication and versatility, earning licensure as a cosmetologist, accountant, and auditor.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Estelle Williams Miles; her sister, Deborah Williams Bauman (Albert); her niece, Darian Bauman; and her great-niece, Italy Bauman. She is also survived by her aunts, Gloria Brinson and Linda Williams, along with a host of cousins, relatives, and close friends.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Arthur P. Williams; her grandparents, Robert H. Williams, Sr., Annabelle Ellis Williams, Ferdinand August, and Marie William August; her uncles, Robert H. Williams, Jr., Alvin Williams, Roger Williams, Willie Williams and Robert Brinson; and her aunt, Annabelle Riley.

A private memorial service will be held in her honor on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Providence Memorial Park & Mausoleum, 8200 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. A repast will follow at 12:00 PM at Bethany United Methodist Church, 4533 Mendez Street, New Orleans, LA.

The family extends an invitation to relatives, neighbors, and friends to attend the repast. Employees of the Sewerage & Water Board of New Orleans, Waterford Hotel Group, Hotel La Marias, Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans, New Orleans East Hospital, The Sanctuary Passages Hospice & Palliative Care, and Rhodes Funeral Home are also warmly invited, along with members of the Pontchartrain Park Neighborhood Association, the American Cancer Society of Louisiana, the New Orleans Toastmasters Club, and the Sister’s Love Christian Women Group.

Pamela will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, accomplishments, and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Dear Neighbors, with heavy hearts, we share that Pam Williams passed away on last night. She was a cherished friend and a beloved former member of PPNA. A lifelong resident from Prentiss Ave., Pam was known for her joyful spirit, kindness, and friendliness. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Merritt. She was a Stallworth supporter of Bethany United Methodist Church and will be missed tremendously. The Services of Life will take place Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Bethany.
