Thank you to NOLA Ready Emergency Management Department and New Orleans Health Department for taking the time to speak to our volunteer Foster Grandparents. Team members from the Health Department conducted a survey as a collaboration with the City of New Orleans in their 2026 Assessment. The NOLA Ready presentation covered hurricane preparedness and info on signing up for Smart911 and NOLA Ready text alerts. This was very benefical to all our senior volunteers!

Our friends at St. Michael Special School recently visited the seniors at the Benson Center to volunteer their time during a marathon session of Bingo. They helped hand out boards and partnered up with seniors during gametime. We appreciate the group taking the time to help make the day so memorable.
