Who is Melvin Labat?
Besides a candidate for King ZULU 2024, he can often be found volunteering in the community. This
week was National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Melvin was one of the speakers of “SURVIVORS
VOICES”, and he was asked to step in and serve as the Master of Ceremony for the All-White Memorial
and Balloon Release on the Bayou. Melvin has been an active voice since losing his only child 11 years
ago, even during the pandemic when they went virtue.
