Got too much paper at home? Have documents around you don't want to throw into the garbage? We've got the solution - attend our SENIOR Document Shredding Day Friday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to noon.

This is a convenient and secure way to dispose of sensitive paper documents. There is no charge but donations are welcome.

Seeking Volunteers to Help Seniors in New Milford Stay Safe at Home

We’re looking for volunteers with a little extra time to help local seniors with small household chores and projects so they can remain safely in their homes longer and avoid costly long-term care expenses.

Projects may include:
Lawn care
Gardening
Cleaning
Painting
Installing simple safety equipment
Changing light bulbs
Minor household tasks

You do not need to be especially handy or experienced — just willing to help and care about our community. Even a few hours can make a real difference for a senior neighbor.
