What an outstanding day! Our VFW Day of Service 2026 was a huge success. In partnership with Post 10201 from Brookfield, we undertook the maintenance of a historic local cemetery. The results underscore the potential of collective effort in achieving a shared objective. Appreciation is expressed to everyone involved.

Kathy and I are thrilled to be part of a dynamic event at the New Milford library, where community spirit is thriving through initiatives that highlight the town's true potential, as representatives of the the New Milford VFW and Auxiliary.

Today, we laid wreaths on veteran graves at St. Francis Cemetery, following the nationwide Wreaths Across America tradition that honors veterans during Christmas. Over 5,500 cemeteries across the country participated in this meaningful event. Witnessing young people paying respects to veterans was truly inspiring. Engaging youth is crucial as they represent the future. God bless America.

I was honored to participate as a speaker at the free dinner event hosted by the Litchfield County Irish American Club at Veterans Hall in New Milford. They orchestrated an extraordinary event, completely free for our veterans. I am grateful for their unwavering support of our veterans.
