The New Milford Police Union - C.O.P.S. Local 47 is comprised of 44 Police Officers within the New Milford Police Department. We are represented by the United Public Service Employees Union. We are also members of the Greater Danbury Fraternal Order of Police - Lodge #28.
The Town of New Milford, Connecticut is located within the northwest hills of Litchfield county. New Milford is the largest town in Connecticut in terms of land area at nearly 62 square miles. According to the 2010 census, the population was 28,142.
