What did Mandates get us?
* You were banned from seeing ailing family members in the convalescent homes.
* Threatened to lose your job for non-compliance.
* Your children education was suddenly interrupted.
* Connecticut colleges justified discrimination against students.
* They shut down places of worship without regard for people's faith.
MANDATES DON'T HELP; THEY HURT PEOPLE!

The LPCT is holding a Special Party Meeting on May 23rd at the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Meriden at 11 AM to take up important bylaws amendments and fill Judicial Committee and State Central Committee vacancies.

All are welcome to attend. Please RSVP at https://www.lpct.org/lpct_special_party_meeting_2021 so we may have an accurate count. After completing the RSVP, you will have the choice to purchase a meal ticket for $15. Wise Guys of Meriden will be catering for us. Please purchase this ticket prior to May 9th so we may provide Wise Guys enough time. There will also be coffee. Feel free to BYOB and lunch if you prefer.

The following is the current Roster Report for the Libertarian Party of Connecticut:

Total Members: 255 (increase of 15)

Regular Members: 140 (increase of nine)

Associate Members: 106 (increase of six)

Lifetime Members: 9

Bylaws Sustaining Members of the Libertarian National Party who live in Connecticut: 170

Please note that membership with the National Libertarian Party does not convey membership with the Libertarian Party of Connecticut and vice versa.

If you have any questions regarding your status as an Associate or Regular Member of the Libertarian Party of Connecticut, or as a National Party Member, comment below or message the page and I will confirm your status.

LP National Membership does not provide the LPCT with any revenue, but it does increase our allotment of delegates to the National Convention in 2022. If you are a member of the National Libertarian Party as of October 31st, 2021, you will count towards our total for delegate calculations. Anyone who joins or renews their National Membership between now and October 31st will ensure Connecticut can take as many delegates as possible to Reno in May 2022. Currently, we qualify for 12 delegates to Reno. In 2020, we qualified for 13.

If you wish to join the LPCT or renew your membership for another year, you can do so at this link: https://www.lpct.org/regular_membership

If you wish to join up the LPCT as an Associate Member (no dues required), you can do so here: https://www.lpct.org/associate-membership

If you wish to join or renew your membership with the National Party, you can do so here: https://my.lp.org/contribute/join/

And finally, if you are not yet registered to vote as a Libertarian in Connecticut, it's easy to do so online. Just visit https://voterregistration.ct.gov/OLVR/welcome.do and be sure to type in "Libertarian" under "other."

In addition, we have a full slate of County meetings and a couple of Town meetings coming up in the next month as well. Find the closest meeting to you and join the growing liberty movement in your County or Town at lpct.org/calendar. If you cannot find your County on the website yet, check back in a few days as we are still compiling dates and locations for March's meetings.

We are continuing our strong growth as 2021 continues and we are poised to reach out to every registered libertarian in the state with an invitation to join us and get involved. Join the Liberty Movement in 2021 as we continue to fight against draconian and tyrannical government action in Connecticut and the United States.

We hope to see you on March 13th at the Capitol for the one-year anniversary of Governor Lamont's accession to King by Executive Order, defying our time-honored principle of separation of powers. The LPCT has been the only leader speaking out and rallying against the greatest abuse of executive power in our lifetimes.

The Party of Principle

The Libertarian Party (LP) is your representative in American politics. It is the only political organization which respects you as a unique and responsible individual.

Our slogan is that we are “The Party of Principle”, because we stand firmly on our principles.

Libertarians strongly oppose any government interference into their personal, family, and business decisions. Essentially, we believe all Americans should be free to live their lives and pursue their interests as they see fit as long as they do no harm to another.

Founded in 1971, we run many hundred of candidates every election cycle. These candidates seek positions ranging from City Council to President of the United States. Each of these candidates helps to give liberty a voice.
