Frontier Local Schools will be operating on a 2 hour delay for Friday, January 25, 2019.

We will be making a move on our social media this year toward a district-wide effort to keep the students, community, and parents informed and involved. With that in mind, we have created a new Frontier Local School District page.

For the next few weeks as we spread the word we will continue to put information both on this page and on the district page. By September 1 our plan is to only push information out on the district site and we want everyone to be able to be there to see it.

Therefore we are asking you to do a few things to stay informed with current information.
1) please go to the district site and like the district page.

2) After you have "liked" the page go to the drop-down arrow beside "following" and click on See First to ensure that updates will show up in your Facebook feed.

3) Please share this new district page so that the people who are in your circle will get word that we are making a move.

Frontier High and Middle School will be implementing a 1-to-1 Chromebook initiative for the 2018-2019 school year

Starting this school year, each FHMS student in grades 7-12 will be issued a district-owned Chromebook. In order to make sure that both the students and parents/guardians understand the responsibilities and expectations that will come with being issued a Chromebook, each student, and his/her parent/guardian must attend a policy orientation meeting. We will cover the district's Acceptable Use Policy and Chromebook policy, answer any questions you may have, and allow you to sign for and take home the Chromebook.

The current available dates are....

Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 6:00 pm (During 7th-grade orientation - ONLY for 7th-grade students/parents)
Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm
Friday, August 17, 2018 at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm

Please make every attempt to attend one of these sessions as it is impossible for me to meet with 300 parents during individual meetings. If, however, due to extreme circumstances you can not arrange to be available at any of those times I will have a limited number of spaces to be able to meet with parents/guardians who are unable to attend. Please let me know if this is the case or if you have any other questions or concerns.

Due to power outage at FHMS, there will be no school for students, May 23rd. Staff of FHMS must report to work.
School is in session for both elementary buildings.

Good morning Cougar Nation! Did anyone out there take great pictures of Senior Night for Boys Basketball? The yearbook is looking for a few more great pictures for a few spaces and this is one of them.

If you have happen to have some please contact me at [email protected] so that we can get the original if possible. We are not able to use pictures we get from facebook as they become very pixelated when put into the yearbook. Thanks so much for your help!

LAST CHANCE TO GRAB YOUR 2018 COUGAR YEARBOOK AT A LOWER PRICE!!

Just a reminder to all students and parents that the early bird price for our 2018 yearbook ends tomorrow. Yearbooks are $55 through tomorrow and will be $65 starting Monday. Your student should have received an order form but if you haven’t seen it and would still like to order tomorrow you can send the order form and cash or a check (made payable to Frontier High School) with your student. Those can be turned in to the office.
