EXCITING STEAM LAB UPDATE
STEAM is an interdisciplinary approach to learning that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. Our new STEAM Lab is an exciting addition to Frontier High/Middle School, providing students with a dynamic, hands-on environment to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Equipped with innovative tools and technology, the lab encourages students to collaborate, solve real-world problems, think creatively, and turn their ideas into meaningful projects. More than just a new learning space, the STEAM Lab is designed to inspire curiosity, foster innovation, and prepare students with the skills, confidence, and creativity they need to succeed in an ever-changing world.
The first phase of our STEAM Lab included purchasing the following: eight adjustable workbenches, an eleven drawer rolling workbench, two MakerBot Stand Printer 3D Printer Solution kits, a DTF Printer with laptop, two heat presses, Pro Studio Creator Kit, VEX Robotics sets, a ChompSaw, four sets of cardboard tools, and consumables.
We would like to thank our generous donors and partners in education for supporting our students: The Schneider Family, Syensqo, Bryan and Ruth Kilburn (Kolby’s grandparents), Morrison, Inc., and The Peoples Savings Bank.
We are excited to move on to phase two of our STEAM Lab project. If you are interested in learning more, donating, or partnering with us in our STEAM initiatives, please contact Amy Kilburn at [email protected]
