🔥 KNOW HOW TO USE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER — REMEMBER P.A.S.S.

A fire extinguisher can help control a small, early-stage fire, but only if you know how to use it safely.

P — PULL the safety pin.
A — AIM the nozzle at the base of the fire, not the flames.
S — SQUEEZE the handle to discharge the extinguishing agent.
S — SWEEP from side to side across the base until the fire is out.

⚠️ Before you fight the fire: Make sure you have the correct type of extinguisher and always keep a clear escape route behind you. If the fire is spreading, conditions become unsafe, or one extinguisher cannot control it—evacuate and call the fire department.
