UPDATE:
Tree has been cleared and power has been restored.

Tree down at the bottom of Whiteman hill. FD on scene and our crew is on the way to remove it and restore power.

Not only are we monitoring the potential for isolated flash flooding south of interstate 70 through early afternoon. There is also a low (5%) chance (1 out of 5 threat level) of down trees with storms this afternoon over northern West Virginia.

Once we get pass today, it is dry and sunny through Monday! Get ready to bust out the shades!

Training this afternoon was using the boat to supply water to an engine as well as utilizing its on board appliance to deliver water.

Lint happens. Fires don’t have to. Lint buildup can lead to a dryer fire if it’s not cleaned regularly.

• Clean the lint filter before or after each load.
• Make sure the outdoor vent flap opens when the dryer is running.
• Have a qualified service person clean the inside of the dryer cabinet and exhaust duct once a year.
