Members, please note that our after-hours payment center is temporarily unable to accept new credit cards for bill payments. We are working to resolve the software issue and should be able to add new cards for payment very soon.

This issue does not affect transactions during business hours through AEC or any payments made through SmartHub. If you already have a card on file or are paying with an e-check, you will still be able to make your payment after normal business hours by contacting our after-hours payment center.

In the meantime, you can still make payments 24/7 online or on your phone using SmartHub, calling our IVR payment line or using our night depository at our office. Visit our website for more information and payment options: https://www.aecoop.org/your-account/payment-billing/payment-services/

At AEC, we are always engaging in programs and courses to keep Empowering Safety for our membership. Today we continued this practice by participating in our annual Safety Fair. Our friends from the Jefferson City Police Department, Jefferson City Fire Department and New Market Volunteer Fire Department joined us at the AEC office to lead a variety of presentations and demonstrations that help us stay ready for any situation. Thank you to all of our guests and presenters for helping us Power What Matters Most by ensuring continued safety for our employees and members.

Remember, the safest and most secure way to pay your bills is by using one of our many direct payment methods. We offer many ways to pay on your account, including online through SmartHub, Quick Pay through our website, and in-person at our office. Trying to use a third-party to pay AEC bills could lead to delays in processing or could make you vulnerable to scams, but using AEC approved payment methods is always safe and reliable.
