Waupaca County 4-H 4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.

Reminder - registration closes early next week. Sign up for a ceramics class or photography & watercolor painting.

All youth are invited to participate in a hands on Art Sparks workshop on Tuesday, June 30 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Art Sparks will be held in the Pavilion Building at the Fairgrounds in Weyauwega. You will need to select either a ceramics class or a photography & watercolor session. The cost is $3 per youth. This is sponsored by Waupaca County 4-H, but you do not have to be a 4-H member to attend. Register by June 22 at https://forms.gle/BwjX8DWNE4LKGv5E6

Pirates of the Dells was the theme for 4-H Summer Camp this week! Close to 70 youth from Waupaca, Portage, and Iowa Counties enjoyed overnight camp at Upham Woods, by Wisconsin Dells. Thanks to all of the campers for bringing your curiosity and fun to camp, and the older youth counselors and adult chaperones for making camp a memorable experience for everybody! We couldn't do it without you!

Cloverbud members in grades K-2 are invited to join the Waupaca County 4-H Dog Project!! Bring along your favorite stuffed animal dog to class and have some fun learning all about the Waupaca County 4-H Dog Project! Classes start on July 13 in Weyauwega.
Members will learn about dog grooming, showmanship, and more! Cloverbud families will soon receive more info by mail.

Announcing: Waupaca County 4-H Family Trip to Heritage Hill State Historic Park in Green Bay. Families are invited to meet at Heritage Hill for a day of learning and fun on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026. The cost is a deposit of $15, which will be refunded when you arrive. This trip is funded by money raised during the silent auction at the 4-H Leaders' Banquet each fall. Registration and payment are due by June 16. Scan the QR code or use this link https://bit.ly/4-HFamilyTrip2026 If you are interested in extending your day in Green Bay after 1:30 pm, a list with some suggestions will be shared prior to the trip. Most of lunch will be provided by the 4-H Leaders' Association, families are asked to bring their own sandwich. There is a lot of walking at the park and there are handicap accessible paths. Plan accordingly for weather.

Wisconsin 4-H Arts Camp 2026 - Save the date - October 2-4, 2026 at Upham Woods in Wisconsin Dells. See below for more details. There is partial financial support for the registration cost from the Waupaca County 4-H Leaders Association.

🎨🎭🍳🎶 Calling all creative 4-H members in grades 6-8!

Mark your calendars for Arts Camp 2026, happening October 2-4 at Upham Woods!

If you love creating, performing, exploring, or trying something new, Arts Camp is the place for you. Spend the weekend discovering your artistic side through hands-on experiences in areas like theater, dance, visual arts, culinary arts, nature arts, music, and more. Whether you’re already passionate about the arts or just curious to explore, there’s something for everyone!

But Arts Camp is more than just arts workshops. Campers will also enjoy classic 4-H camp traditions like a campfire, makerspace activities, and the always-popular counselor hunt. It’s a weekend filled with creativity, friendship, fun, and opportunities to discover where your passions can take you.

🗓 Registration opens August 1 and runs through August 31 (or until camp reaches capacity).
👥 Open to all 4-H members in grades 6-8.
💲 Cost was $150 last year and is expected to be similar this year.
⏰ Camp begins Saturday morning and wraps up by 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
