How it works:

Checking out books:
You get 2 weeks with each item checked out
May renew books

Movie Rentals:
New Releases - $1.00 per movie per day
these should be r

eturned by 1:00 pm the next business day
Late Fees for New Releases-
$1.00 per day, per movie for each day past due
Older movies are FREE! These can be checked out for 2 week at a time

Faxing:
Local and Toll Free numbers
$0.50 per page
Long distance numbers
pages 1-3 $1.00 per page
all pages after 3 are $0.50 per page
Cover page is FREE

Printing & Photocopies:
$0.10 per page in black and white
$0.15 per page front and back in black and white
$0.50 per page & per side for color prints

Ramey Hall (Library Basement):
$20 Deposit
plus
$25 rental fee for under 8 hours
$40 rental fee for over 8 hours

There is a crew from Lowe’s tomorrow (Monday) coming into New London to help with clean up. They will have chainsaws, rakes etc. If you know of anyone that still needs help cleaning up their yard please let us know! We would like to get as many people help as possible. We will have lunch again in the basement starting at 11am for anyone out helping.

Our town is still needing help through the week and probably the weekend cleaning up debris from yards and property. I (Brit) am working on coordinating help for those that have reached out.
If you would like to help out by DONATING your time and resources call 319-931-3230 or message us we can find a place for you to help. There are lots of property’s that need access to someone with a chainsaw to help cut up limbs so they can be taken out to the road. Silver cord kids I can find places for you to help and I will sign off on your hours.
If you would like to list an address that needs assistance it can be done on our community page on the post I made I can send you a link just send me a message. (Link is also in comments) OR you can post it here and I will list it for you.

We are serving lunch Friday starting at 11 am downstairs in the basement. Please let anyone out working on cleaning up the town know they are welcome to come stop by and eat. We have pulled chicken or deli meat sandwiches, chips, cookies and drinks.

The library is currently open, we have power, but no internet. Jude will be there for book check out and check ins if you like until 7:00 pm. We also have bottles of water available if anyone needs some. Stay safe everyone.

Brit & I (Taelor) have been out since the storm passed ,helping our neighbors and others in the community with their clean up efforts.

The library board meeting that was scheduled for tonight is cancelled and will be rescheduled soon, we will post that information as soon as we know it.

The library opening today is up in the air. After this mornings storm we have no internet and the power is out nearly city wide. Our community needs help with clean up and that is where we will be. We will post again later if we decide to open. Here is a short video of a sample of what we are dealing with. (That branch was not through the window, it just looked like it)
