1801 Richard Douglass House / Green Street, New London, CT Built by Richard Douglass - Capt. in the Continental Army -American Revolution and Whaling Master Alexander Douglass - in Historic New London, CT.

Historic 1801 Gambrel Cape in downtown New London on a quiet historic street off of State Street. 2 Story home built by Richard Douglass whose family first arrived in New London in 1645. Richard´s son Whaling Master Alexander Douglass soon moved into the house and was a prominent New London whaler. Restored in 2006-2008 it is now a private residence.
