On Thursday, May 28th, the Village of New London water department will be working on a project that requires shutting off water service on North Main Street from Akron Street to West Fir Street, including 14 and 15 East Ho**er Street. Water service is expected to be shut off at approximately 8:00 AM and will be restored once the project is complete. A boil advisory will be in effect for affected homes. We will notify the affected homes when the boil advisory is lifted. We apologize for any inconvenience. This project is weather dependent, and we will provide updates if any changes are necessary. Thank you.

05/14 @ 2347
Officer initiated a traffic stop along E. Main and Walnut St. for an equipment violation. The vehicle also ran out of gas and assistance was provided. Warning given.

A Birch Park Dr. complainant reported striking a large tree limb that was overhanging the road. Assistance was rendered.

Complainant requested a welfare check on a Westwood Dr. juvenile after being made aware of a text message he had sent out. Contact was made with the parent, who was aware and seeking assistance for the child.

Complainant reported smoke in the area of W. Washburn and Westwood Dr. The area was checked without the source being located. The smoke dissipated a short time later.

We are looking for assistance in locating a possible 2008-2012 blue Chevy Malibu that hit a parked car in East Main Street near Walnut Street. The vehicle appears to of been traveling west towards the traffic light. This car has monster stickers on the mirrors. Pictures posted below.
