Just a reminder that School starts today. Let’s be aware of our precious kids as they wait for the buses. Drive safe and do not Speed as the Police Officers will be patrolling the neighborhood keeping kids Safe. Thank you and don’t forget to wave at the children this morning. A friendly smile goes a long way and you never know who need one.

There is a gas leak on 1211 by the post office . As soon as the gas company finishes the repair the road will be clear. Please be careful .

We are aware of recent vehicle burglaries. We are urging citizens to lock their vehicle doors and to not keep any items of value in their vehicles unattended. We would encourage the community to assist with decreasing the number of thefts from vehicles by remaining alert and reporting anything unusual or suspicious to the police. We are working diligently to solve this problem.

The Mayor, City Council and City Administrator congratulate Chief Bush on his Retirement after 28 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Leesville. Chief Bush has been an asset to the City of Leesville and will truly be missed.
