Fairview Assisted Living

It’s been a busy week at Fairview! Our residents were grateful to be remembered at the New Lexington Volleyball game, where a donation was made to support our bingo and activities fund. Our staff also joined the annual Fairgrounds Trunk-or-Treat. Although the weather cut the fun short, we were happy to be part of such a wonderful community event. (Take a look at the last few photos of our staff enjoying the beautiful weather at Trunk-or-Treat)

Thank you New Lex Volleyball for taking the time to think of our facility!

This Tuesday, we play home against Tri-Valley — with no seniors on the court this year, we decided to have “senior night” a little differently this year. We are partnering with Fairview Assisted Living to celebrate their “seniors.” We will have jars out front if you’d like to throw in quarters for their bingo nights and we will also have a card station in the cafeteria where any attendees can make a seasonal card to send out to Fairview Assisted Living to bring joy and smiles to those senior citizens! We hope to see you there to celebrate the “seniors” and cheer us on against Tri-Valley! 🐾🏐🧡

This week, our residents went on a Hocking Hills adventure! They started their day at the Hocking Hills Visitor Center, where they checked out the famous Pencil Sharpener Museum. From there, they headed to Conkle’s Hollow Nature Preserve to hike the gorge trail. The views were breathtaking, and they even had the special treat of spotting a baby deer along the way! After working up an appetite, they made their way to The Olde Dutch for some delicious home cooking. They finished the day with a little shopping at the antique mall, and because no day trip is complete without a sweet treat, they stopped at Dairy Queen on the way back to Fairview. It was a wonderful day filled with beautiful scenery, good food, a little shopping, and lots of memories made together. We’d say it was pretty perfect!
