✔️ Unlocking is quick through the Connect EBT app or online.
✔️ If you only shop in Ohio or already use “lock everywhere,” nothing needs to be changed.

💛 As we celebrate Responsible Fatherhood Awareness Month, we loved hearing children share their favorite things about their dads during our Cooking Class with Dad – Chef Steve event tonight. Moments like these remind us why this work matters.

🍽️💛 We had a fantastic evening at our Cooking Class with Dad – Chef Steve event!

Thanks to support from the Ohio Commission on Fatherhood and the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, local dads and their children joined us for a hands-on cooking experience led by the talented Chef Steve from Celebrations Catering by Chef Steve. We’re incredibly grateful for Chef Steve’s time, expertise, and energy—he made the night both educational and fun!

Families watched Chef Steve demonstrate each step, then recreated the dishes together. Tonight’s menu featured chicken quesadillas and a fresh fruit salsa, and everyone went home with the tools, ingredients, and recipe to make it again at home.

We also want to extend a big thank‑you to the Perry County Commissioners for recognizing June as Responsible Fatherhood Awareness Month. Your support helps lift up fathers and families in our community.

Such a meaningful evening of learning new skills, building confidence in the kitchen, and creating memories that last.

💜 What an amazing day! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Event.

Our staff proudly wore purple to raise awareness and stand with older adults in our community. We also want to give a special shout‑out to the Perry County Commissioners for their ongoing support and for helping highlight the importance of this day. We’re so grateful for all of our community partners and vendors who made this event a success. Your teamwork, passion, and commitment truly make a difference in protecting older adults.

🟣 Our World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Event kicked off today at noon at the Perry County Opportunity Center! Join us until 2 PM to meet with vendors, learn about resources, and show your support for protecting older adults in our community.
