💙 Men's Health Week is a reminder that taking care of your health is one of the most important investments you can make.

Regular checkups, preventive screenings, physical activity, healthy eating, and prioritizing mental health can help men live longer, healthier lives. Many serious health conditions can be prevented or treated more effectively when detected early.

This week, encourage the men in your life to schedule that appointment, ask questions, and make their health a priority. Small steps today can lead to a healthier tomorrow.

Today, on National Cancer Survivor Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of cancer survivors in our communities. Their journeys remind us of the importance of prevention, early detection, access to quality healthcare, and ongoing support for patients and families.
Together, we honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and continue working toward a healthier future for all.

🌎 Happy World Environment Day!

A healthy environment is the foundation of a healthy community. Clean air, safe drinking water, proper waste management, and pollution prevention all play a critical role in protecting public health and improving quality of life.

This World Environment Day, take a moment to appreciate the connection between environmental health and personal well-being. Small actions—such as reducing litter, recycling, conserving water, and keeping our communities clean—can make a lasting impact on the health of current and future generations.

Have questions on what you can do to create a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment? Call our Environmental Health Division today! 🌱💚

🚨 Mosquito Control in Action 🚨
Mosquito Season is here - are you ready? PCHD is!
Our Mosquito Control Technician, Andrea Groves is out in the community working hard to help reduce mosquito populations and protect public health. Pictured is Registered Environmental Health Technician Chad Cook utilizing our mosquito sprayer.
🦟💪 Spraying efforts target areas where mosquitoes breed and thrive, helping decrease the risk of mosquito-borne illnesses while making our neighborhoods more comfortable for everyone.

Please remember:
✔️ Avoid standing water around your home
✔️ Keep windows and doors screened
✔️ Use insect repellent when outdoors

Together, we can help keep our community safe this season! 🌿☀️
