We are currently in the process of upgrading to a new CAD system. With that being said now is great time to add/ update any Perry County business contact information. We are doing this to ensure inaccurate/ outdated information isn’t being imported over to our new system. We highly encourage you to update your information if possible as it has not been updated since our current cad was purchased in 2019. You can do so by printing this form and emailing it to Dispatcher S. Rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are possible through tonight, with locally higher amounts. Creeks, streams and even some rivers across portions of the area are running high given the recent rainfall, and could flood with more heavy rain.

WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

WHERE...A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following counties, Morgan and Perry.

WHEN...Into Saturday morning.

IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rain will overspread the region this morning and persist through much of tonight. Rainfall totals of one to two inches are expected across the area, with locally higher amounts possible in locations impacted by thunderstorms or just embedded heavier downpours. Areas that received locally heavy rain over the past several days will be most vulnerable to flooding.

🚙State route 13 is re opened🚗

⚠️ TRAFFIC ALERT: ROAD CLOSURE ⚠️
Location: State Route 13, just north of Sheridan Road.
Due to an auto accident, State Route 13 is currently shut down in both directions just north of Sheridan Road. Emergency crews are currently on the scene working to clear the area.
Please seek alternative routes and allow for extra travel time if you are heading in that direction. We will provide an update as soon as the road has been reopened.
