es of vines and added an additional wedding venue, the Vineyard Estate at New Kent Winery. In May 2015, they opened New Kent Winery's Wine Club, which gives members exclusive benefits such as limited release wines, discounts, and access to special members-only events. And in May 2017, New Kent Winery was awarded an Excellence in Business Award from the New Kent Chamber of Commerce for helping make New Kent County a destination for wine lovers, fun seekers, and guests from all walks of life. In the fall of 2020, they expanded their operations to open Talleysville Brewing Company, the County’s first Farm Brewery. Hospitality Lead (Part-Time)

The New Kent W**ery and Talleysville Brewing Company is seeking a Part-time Hospitality Lead. We are looking for energetic individuals who share our passion for great w**e and craft b**r and have a commitment to excellent customer service to help sell, serve and educate our customers.
The Hospitality Lead is the first line manager, supervising front of house staff. The Lead will perform the daily duties of running the tasting/tap room, supervising staff, promoting w**e, b**r and food sales and general event and retail operations of the W**ery/Brewery. The Hospitality Lead reports directly to the Owners.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Manages and performs the daily needs of the tasting room through direct management of opening/closing, drawer reporting, gift certificates, and other daily procedures
Maintains overall cleanliness and appearance of the tasting room to customers
Assists in hiring and training of new staff members in the Retail Operation
Works with new staff or places them with Assistant Leads to train on the job
Conducts Weekly Tasting Room Updates to Staff via email and in-person meetings
Assists in planning and orchestrating scheduled public events for the operation
Assists scheduling Musicians and Food Trucks
Coordinating with Vendors our expectations
Keeping up to date records of confirmations for Owners
Assists in organizing and managing Employee Schedules
Maintaining needed staffing levels for daily operation
Inventory Management
Private Events
Makes judgment calls and decisions in Tasting Room operations
All other duties as assigned.

Part Time Position
Hourly Salary commensurate on experience
