Registration is required, and as usual your Civic recommends you register early to avoid being shut out.

Thank you to all the volunteers in today’s miserable rainy morning. Without their help we could never get this race off with precision and safety.

Our volunteers as all others were there at 7 am ready to help where needed.

Thank you to Lily Soo, Susan McClellan, Rose Lowe, Megan Liu, Anita Cheung ,Tony Colon, and Cathy Von Hoff and her son Colin

Please understand these races are sanctioned by by the USA Track & Field organization and the dates chosen by the organization unfortunately conflicted with the Jewish Holidays. There wasn’t much they could do and hope anyone of the Jewish faith does not hold it against such a wonderful organization.

Led by outstanding offensive performances, by Rocco Natale, Johnny Casanova and Quarterback Hunter Nacewicz, the New Hyde Park Gladiators scored a decisive 44-21 victory over the Center Moriches Red Devils. Congratulations on an excellent game !

Rocco Natale had nine carries for 89 yards and two TDs and returned a kickoff 80 yards for a score to lead visiting New Hyde Park over Center Moriches, 44-21, in a non-league football opener on Thursday. Hunter Nacewicz completed all five of his passes for 110 yards and a TD. Johnny Casanova rushed for 87 yards on six carries and caught a 42-yard TD
pass.

🚨 RACEI UPDATE 🚨

We are very aware of the rain forecast tomorrow that is something sadly we cannot control

As long as it’s Rain only the Race is on and will go ahead as planned

If we have to pivot and cancel that decision will be made in conjunction with USATF Long Island closer to actual race time for both adults and kids

So we would ask all volunteers please plan on the race going ahead and report in the morning as planned

Please note we would never be wreck less with both volunteer and runner safety ever that’s not who we are!!!!!

911 -NEVER FORGET

Twenty five years have passed, but to many Americans, especially New Yorkers, it seems that it happened just yesterday.
Your Lakeville Estates Civic Association respectfully asks that you take a moment to honor the memory and perhaps even say a prayer for not only the people who died on September 11, 2001 - but also the many people who are now suffering and dying from the effects of this tragic event.
