This Madison County School System campus social media page aims to share important information about the district and campus with the public and engage in an open and respectful dialogue. To help us accomplish this goal, we ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

- Open conversation, not personal issues. This page is not intended to c

- Stay on topic. This page is dedicated to educating students in the Madison County School System and this school. Let’s keep the conversation related to those topics. Comments are welcome as long as they directly relate to a topic.

- Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them privately. Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment on this page.

- Be aware of the mission. The mission of Madison County School System and this school is education. Please ensure your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages.

- Be factual; blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. MCSS social media managers will remove false information and post accurate information.

- All comments and communication must come from a verifiable account. Statements made by individuals who misrepresent themselves, representing themselves as someone other than themselves or from unverifiable accounts, will be removed.

Our sixth grade students did an amazing job with the wax museum this week! They researched, planned, and practiced for weeks. -All students, new and returning, must complete enrollment through the PowerSchool Enrollment Portal. Upcoming 7th graders (current NHES 6th graders) need to be registered for the 26-27 school year by this Friday, May 15th.
-Students can not be scheduled until their online registration is complete.

-A Snap Code was emailed by PowerSchool to the address on file. Check your inbox, including spam or junk folders, or contact your child’s school for assistance.
-Families may also enroll by logging into the PowerSchool Parent Portal and selecting the Student Registration icon for the 2026–2027 school year.

-Families must upload a valid lease, rental agreement, deed, property tax, or mortgage statement in the custodial parent’s name, along with one current Huntsville Utilities bill in the custodial parent's name.

🎒 EARLY DISMISSAL - MAY 19 & MAY 20 🎒

REMINDER:
Tuesday, May 19 & Wednesday, May 20 are scheduled Half-Days for all Madison County Schools as we head into summer break. The dismissal schedule is consistent with previous early dismissal days.

District dismissal times are listed below:
• 11:30 dismissal - High Schools and Middle Schools
• 12:30 dismissal - Elementary, Intermediate, and K-8 Schools

🎒 May 20, 2026 is the last day of school for all students.

🎒 Please check for additional details from your child's school regarding dismissal procedures and campus-specific information.

NHHS Basketball Camp Update!
Due to weather canceling last week’s camp day- it has been rescheduled to tomorrow (Tuesday 5/12) from 3-4:30pm in the middle school gym.
Wednesday, 5/13, is a regular scheduled camp day from 3-4:30pm in the high school gym. Wednesday is the last day of basketball camp.

Thank you to our fabulous PTO, Family Savings Credit Union, Willowbrook church, and Mr. Brian Brooks our District 3 Board Member for spoiling us on Friday! The teachers were treated to a duty free Taco Mama lunch and lots of sweet treats.
