Wondering when you should expect to see fall color in New Hope? The fall color map created by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources shows the expected fall colors in Minnesota from Sept. through Oct. based on past data. Most trees in New Hope should be showing their fall colors between Sept. 25-Oct. 26th.

If your tree has shown fall color before this time, it may be experiencing stress. Contact an arborist if you have concerns about your tree’s health. New Hope residents can reach out directly to our City of New Hope forester and certified arborist, Sierra McCoy at [email protected] or 763.592.6763.

The City of New Hope is excited to celebrate the recipients of the 2026 RAVE! Award!

For 20 years, the RAVE! program has recognized residents who demonstrate exceptional care in home maintenance, landscaping and exterior improvements, helping make New Hope’s neighborhoods beautiful places to live.

This year’s winners were honored at the Aug. 24 City Council meeting and presented with engraved stones commemorating their achievement.

Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations and participated in the process, and a special thank-you to our volunteer judges for their time and thoughtful consideration in selecting this year’s award recipients!

The City is replacing water meters and its meter-reading system citywide to ensure an accurate and reliable system for years to come. If you haven’t already completed or scheduled your water meter replacement, please do so by Nov. 1. Scheduling now will help make sure your replacement is completed before the City’s current meter-reading system is turned off.

Once the current system is turned off, properties without a new meter will be considered out of compliance and charged a monthly fee until the replacement is completed.
