ExtraGive 2025 is just a few days away and the foundation could use your help!

Did you know the Spartan Foundation helps fund experiences that enhance learning for students both inside and outside the classroom? Last year, students in David Trok’s Indigenous and Native American Studies course were able to experience a Susquehanna River Petroglyph Tour with the support of the foundation.

“I absolutely loved the field trip. I have never been on any field trip like this before, so it was a new experience for me. I think this trip should continue to be a part of this class because it gives people a good opportunity to see something that is a part of history and also go Kayaking if they have never before. This trip expanded my knowledge about the Native Americans greatly by showing me their way of communicating, and how their symbolism, and art is maybe different from ours today and back then. Thank you so much for the opportunity to go on this trip!”
