🌸💗 Let’s Talk Menstruation! | ¡Hablemos de la menstruación!
Empowering our youth through education, one conversation at a time! ✨

Our students had the opportunity to participate in a FREE bilingual menstrual health workshop in collaboration with the Yale Department of OB/GYN! 🩺💕

They left feeling more informed, confident, and empowered — and shared how much they learned from the experience! 🫶

A huge THANK YOU to our Yale partners for helping us create a safe space to learn, ask questions, and break the stigma surrounding menstrual health! 🌸

💫 This is just the beginning! Stay tuned for more FREE bilingual youth health workshops at JUNTA!

The Spanish Community of Wallingford’s music and dance programs add to the mosaic of American culture by enabling all Latinos to share the culture of their native countries. SCOW’s amazing Mariachi band and dancers will be joining us at Fiesta Latina, a celebration of Hispanic culture presented with Junta for Progressive Action on Sunday, September 27. The dancers will perform at noon, and the whole event runs from noon to 5 pm.
