As we close out 2025, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible support, advocacy and generosity you've shown throughout the year as we faced yet another challenging year for maternal and child health.

As we reflect on the hurdles faced and the lives impacted, we are reminded of the immense strength, dedication and resilience within our communities.

It is an honor to witness the impact of our collective efforts, as we strive to ensure that every mother, baby, and father receives the care, support and love they deserve, regardless
of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status and geography.

Together, we will continue to make a lasting impact, and build a brighter future for all mothers, babies, fathers, and families.

The Empowerment Christian Church is hosting a Health and Wellness Fair tomorrow, Saturday, November 22nd from 10:00-5:00pm at 19 Marne Street in Hamden. There will be many agencies there to provide resources and support for our community members. Please share with your network, community, family and friends!

Presented by Tomeka Frieson, MPH, and Natasha Ray, MS, designed by CARE - Community Alliance for Research & Engagement in New Haven, and in collaboration with New Haven Healthy Start.

Happening November 5th from 9–10:30 AM. Licensed behavioral health professionals are eligible to receive 1.5 cultural competency CECs.
