During my four years at SCSU, my favorite part about being a student here are the friendships that I have built along the way. I will be an owl forever!

"I am excited to be graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Social Work. My involvement in Social Work began in child welfare, with a focus on School Social Work. It has been my passion to be an advocate for children and families through community engagement and outreach. I work closely within my community to understand how empathy and collaboration can bring people together and move us towards equitable access to education and basic needs for our future generation. As first-generation student, I hope to serve as a living testimony that anything is possible and that the sky is the limit! "
