𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐮𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 🎈 at New Hampton Nursing & Rehab from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Enjoy a magic show, bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, food, and plenty of family fun!

Across Chickasaw County, our communities came together all summer long to celebrate their towns, their traditions and each other.

Fredericksburg Dairy Days. Alta Vista Day "The Friendly Town" Celebration. New Hampton Heartland Days. Lawler Irish Festival. Water Over The Dam Days. Ionia Fundays.

Six celebrations, countless memories and so much hometown pride. ❤️

And apparently, we were really into fire eating this summer. 🔥😂

Between Iowa wind, rain, snow and plenty of sunshine, our flags take a beating throughout the year. If yours is looking worn, faded or damaged, it may be time to retire it. 🇺🇸

Instead of throwing it away, check out the flag disposal locations throughout Chickasaw County below. These locations provide a place to drop off worn U.S. flags so they can be properly retired.
