ROAD WORK FOR NEW FLORENCE 🚧 Road repairs are scheduled for East Hudson Street on 9/10/26 and 9/14/26, starting at 7:00 am until 5:00 pm. The roadway will be open to local traffic only during the time of repairs. For questions or concerns, please contact City Hall Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at (573) 835-2106.

We are seeking donations for a benefit auction to support the family of our beloved Police Chief, who recently passed away, leaving behind his wife and three children.

If you or your business would be willing to donate an item, gift certificate, basket, service, or other auction item, it would be greatly appreciated. Every donation will help support his family during this difficult time.

With heavy hearts, we are preparing a benefit auction to honor and remember our beloved Police Chief, whose dedication, leadership, and service touched so many lives in our community. The Event will take place at The City Park July 11, 2026.

We are asking local businesses, organizations, and community members to consider donating auction items, gift certificates, gift baskets, handmade items, services, or monetary contributions.
