❗️As of 8:33 pm, NF Animal Control has the dog in their possession❗️

A resident found this dog on RT-37 near the cemetery. There is no id tag. It’s at NFPD (for now) until animal control comes.

If you are using Facebook Marketplace or any of the online Tag sale local groups to buy/sell, please use the police department parking lot for meetings/exchanges etc. Even if you eventually need to es**rt them to another location, the police department should be your first meet up location.

Some general tips:

-Avoid using your real name and town and do not give out your address.
-Meet the seller in a public place.
-Have a friend accompany you when picking up an item
-Use secure payment methods

Important notice - We have an approved list of solicitors on the town website.

On 7/14/23, We did have contact with an individual on Forest Hills that was not on the list. When in doubt, check the list and/or call the police department.
