Selective listening is a leadership skill. A good leader hears people out without automatically accepting their bias, emotions, or version of events. Separate facts from feelings, verify information, consider every perspective, then make decisions based on truth,not emotion.

Integrity is tested when things go wrong. If you can’t meet a promised delivery time, don’t disappear, communicate early, explain the delay, and give a realistic timeline. Especially as a middleman, protecting your client’s trust protects your credibility. Honesty may save the relationship.
