On Flag Day, we recognize the enduring symbol of our Nation and honor the ideals that the Stars and Stripes represent.

As the flag flies over our communities, courts, schools and public institutions, it serves as a testament made by those who came before us. Today, we also celebrate the 251st anniversary of the United States Army.

Since 1775, generations of Soldiers have answered the call to defend our nation and protect our freedoms at home and abroad. We recognize the courage and commitment of all who have worn the Army uniform and those who continue to serve today.

We salute the Stars and Stripes today in honor of their service and our wonderful country.
